Jimmy Hurley won his heat, the dash and held off a challenging Jerrod Hull to capture the Midwest Open Wheel event held at Jacksonville Speedway on Friday August 24th. Hurley started 6th in the dash to claim the win and gain the pole position for the feature. The 2nd place finished helped Hull extend his lead over AJ Bruns heading into this weekend’s double header in Lincoln Illinois and Plymouth Indiana on Friday and Saturday.
