The Midwest Open Wheel Association is pleased to be a part of CILTRAK, who’s goal is to ensure healthy local short track racing in Central Illinois. CILTRAK operates Jacksonville Speedway, Quincy Raceways and Lincoln Speedway as well as serving as managers of the MOWA Sprint Car Series. CILTRAK has named three familiar individuals to key positions.
Jake Croxton – Director of Competition. Croxton has served as the competition director at Jacksonville and Quincy as well as the MOWA series over the past few years. He will be responsible for coordinating competition and rules at the various CILTRAK venues and for MOWA. Jake will work closely with Marty Spears Race Director at Lincoln as well as the competition staff at Jacksonville and Quincy to try to have a consistent approach in our racing operations.
Dewain Hulett – Special Projects Coordinator. Hulett, who has served as the primary MOWA announcer will coordinate special projects for CILTRAK such as arranging the Nights of Destruction at Quincy Raceways, development of video, pay-per-view, television exposure and other projects that require a dedicated focus over the longer term. His duties will center on fan engagement and helping to create a unique entertainment experience for our fans.
Patrick Davis – PR and Social Media Coordinator. Davis will be responsible for CILTRAK exposure through traditional, internet and social media outlets. One of the most knowledgeable resources of racing information in Central Illinois as well as growing talent behind the microphone, Patrick will ensure that the message of fun and excitement that is grass roots racing in the area is communicated to the masses.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the 11th Annual Midwest Speed Expo on Saturday, January 11th and Sunday, January 12th, 2014 at the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
