The Neal Tire MOWA Sprint Car Series has released a preliminary 2015 schedule featuring 25 nights of exciting action with more dates expected to be added in the near future.
The season will kick-off at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois on Friday April 3rd. A busy April will continue the following week at Jacksonville Speedway before a two-day weekend at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Illinois and LaSalle Speedway on April 17-18. The MOWA Series will be joined at LaSalle by the Bumper To Bumper IRA Series from Wisconsin.
The series then takes a few weeks off before playing host to the National Sprint League at Jacksonville Speedway for the inaugural ‘Sprints Gone Wild’ event at Jacksonville Speedway. Memorial Day Weekend finds two traditional stops on the schedule at Federated Auto Parts Raceway in Pevely, Missouri on Saturday and Quincy Raceways on Sunday. May will close with a new event at the lightning quick Spoon River Speedway.
A return to the newly-named Route 45 Raceway in Flora, Illinois on June 13 precedes a first-ever trip to the tight confines of Belle-Claire Speedway in Belleville, Illinois the following night. The series then makes its annual trip to ‘The Class Track’ at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana on Saturday to join the non-wing MSCS Sprints on Saturday June 27.
The month of July starts slowly, but ends big with a stop at Lincoln Speedway on Friday July 10 as a final tune-up to the Annual MOWA Sprint Week from July 26-26. Sprint Week takes a slightly different look in 2015 with an opener at Quincy Raceways on Thursday as a part of a show featuring the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. Friday finds MOWA back at Tri-City Speedway before making its annual stop at Mighty Macon Speedway on Saturday July 25th. The week concludes on Sunday July 26th at Jacksonville Speedway.
The month of August gives series teams a chance to regroup and attend other big sprint car events in the Midwest prior to again joining the Bumper To Bumper IRA Sprints at LaSalle Speedway on August 29.
MOWA will again participate in one of the biggest open wheel events of the season as a part of the Gold Crown Midget Nationals at Tri-City Speedway on Labor Day Weekend. The following weekend is the traditional Herb Barlow Memorial at Jacksonville Speedway and Tom Knowles Memorial at Spoon River Speedway on September 11th and 12.
With season points sure to be tight, the series will make a final stop at Quincy Raceways on September 27th, prior to concluding with Championship Weekend at Lincoln and Jacksonville Speedways on Friday October 9 and Saturday October 10.
