Rico Abreu thrilled a near capacity crowd Thursday July 23rd at Quincy Raceways as he claimed opening night honors of Sprint Week 2015. Cory Bruns had another outstanding outing claiming the runner-up position. The Neal Tire MOWA Sprint Car Series presented by Casey’s General Stores joined the World of Outlaws Late Model Series as a part of the ‘Workforce 40’ event at Quincy.
Friday the series will be joined by POWRi midgets at Tri-City Speedway along with Modifieds and B-Mods for Night 2 of sprint week. Tri City always provides outstanding high speed action for the winged sprints.
Saturday night finds MOWA returning to Central Illinois at Macon Speedway with the final stop on the Sprint Week schedule Sunday at Jacksonville Speedway.
