MIDDLETOWN, Iowa (April 7, 2014) – The second show of a two night weekend for the Midwest Open Wheel Association Sprint Car Series presented by Casey’s General Stores roars into 34 Raceway, Middletown, Iowa, Saturday, April 12th.

The series makes its eighth stop in the sanction’s history at the fast 3/8th’s mile speedway, where Danny Lasoski has won four of the previous seven races. In fact, Lasoski’s only series wins have come at 34 Raceway, including two in a row during at two-day show in September of 2013.

Other winners at the track include Terry McCarl, who won in 2011, Danny Smith, in 2012, and Ian Madsen who won the series’ first stop at the track last year. That night, Madsen won every race he was entered in, on his way to a dominating feature win.

The event is expected to see some travelers stop in, possibly including some Knoxville regulars, with the show paying $3,000 to win, and $250 to start for the 22-car field. Among those confirmed by the racetrack is long time veteran Craig Dollansky.

General admission will be $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, $12 for students, and free for kids 10 and under. Pit passes will be $35, with pit gates opening at 3:30 p.m., registration open at 4 p.m. and hot laps at 6 p.m. Time trials are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., with heat races to follow.
